Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) is Azerbaijan’s national tourism organization. Our core tasks include the management of the "Holiday in Azerbaijan" brand, innovative marketing in the most internationally promising markets and the transfer of our knowledge of guests and markets to the domestic tourism industry. In this way we make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the holiday destination Azerbaijan.

Currently we are looking for experienced Industry Associations Manager (Sənaye Assosiasiyalar üzrə Menecer) to join our Industry and Destination Development Team. The successful candidate will work to establish beneficial partnerships with various industry associations. We value creativity, initiative and a work environment that promotes cooperative effort.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Provides expertise and knowledge of the destination (geography, history, culture and tourism potential);
• Participates in building partnerships with various tourism or tourism-related associations and institutions;
• Matches local and international associations to the needs and vision of ATB;
• Formulates and leads realistic yet creative initiatives that contribute to the mission, goals and objectives of ATB;
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;
• Supports local tourism industry associations to comply with international standards;
• Stays up-to-date with current industry trends locally and internationally;
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Tourism field (preferably research division);
• Strong knowledge of the destination (geography, history, culture and tourism potential);
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Tourism is preferred;
• Having a well-established network within Local and International Institutions, Associations and Organizations is preferred;
• Ability to work overtime when necessary to complete time-sensitive projects;
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously;
• Ability to travel across the destination and internationally;
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent Azerbaijani, English and Russian verbal communication and written skills
