Responsibilities:

  • Create content in English about tourism experiences and products in Azerbaijan for print materials, and adapt content from English and Russian if necessary
  • Create content in English for online platforms such as social media pages, websites, email notifications, etc.
  • Visit tourism sites to collect more information if needed and write short articles about these tourism experiences in English
  • Present ideas to help the design team prepare the visual part of the content, and collaborate with the design team
  • Collaborate with the marketing team
  • Answer requests regarding content for different tourism products from other departments
  • Prepare or edit presentations
  • Stay up to date with market trends and best practices in the industry

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of work experience as a content specialist or copywriter
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills, also Russian and Azerbaijani at the research level and able to adapt content from these languages
  • Must have knowledge about Azerbaijan’s geography, literature, historical monuments, traditions, and tourism sites 
  • Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and travel regions of the country
