Position Title: Technical Clerk/Translator
Location: Offshore/Vessel
Rotation: 28/28
Roles & Responsibilities:
• The preparation of the Daily Work Progress Report according to written information supplied by Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Bridge, Deck and Engineers Officers as well as Subcontractors;
• The preparation of the Daily Personnel Report according to Personnel Arrival/Departure;
• The preparation of the Extra Work Reports from the date obtained as per Daily Progress Report;
• The preparation of the Marine Spread Report according to information obtained from the Bridge Officers;
• The receipt and distribution of all incoming and outgoing correspondence regarding construction and barge activities;
• Maintaining and updating Certification records for the Superintendent and Master for project utilized equipment;
• Typing all Project correspondence;
• Receipt, checking, authorization signatures (Superintendent) and distribution of Subcontractor's "Equipment Materials-Consumables Weekly Report" and their own daily reports;
• Obtaining all forms and documents issued by the various Project and barge departments for forwarding to onshore or the QA/OC Engineer;
• Preparation and issue of Project correspondence to Projects onshore;
• At Client's disposal for work requested (typing letters and photocopying) and general service (supplying information and organising equipment and repairs to offices and cabins);
• Collating information from barge Support Tugs with regard to consumables and ensuring that the "Monthly Reports" are prepared in a timely manner;
• Translator and Interpreter, when required;
Qualifications & Skills:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Word;
• Knowledge of Azeri and English in Fluency
