Job Title   HVAC Designer

BRIEF STATEMENT OF DUTIES     

Responsible for the HVAC 2D and 3D PDMS design, drawings, and modelling relating to HVAC equipment and systems for oil and gas installations.

The required competency and skills would typically have been built up working for a consultant engineering company, equipment fabricator, or end user company. Personnel would be expected to have a varied and extensive experience of HVAC equipment in the onshore and offshore (platform topsides and accommodation) oil and gas project environment.  This would include: concept definition, front end engineering design, detailed design, commissioning, and operations.  Consideration will also be given to candidates with a proven track record of designing HVAC systems for the building services, pharmaceutical, and nuclear industries.

A specialist and detailed knowledge of air handling equipment and ductwork designs including the skills to prepare and review: air flow diagrams; D&IDs; HVAC GAs using Draft; and 3D CAD models. Also required is a working knowledge of industry standards for HVAC equipment.

Required Skills:

 Communications
 Computer Literacy
 Minimum 5 years’ experience as a HVAC / Mechanical Designer in the offshore Oil & Gas industry
 Experienced using PDMS 3D and 2D drawing production using Draft and AutoCad
 Degree qualified
 Shall have the right to work in Azerbaijan
