Senior Process Engineer to work for the Project Management Team of an international oil & gas development project
(Only Azerbaijan citizens are eligible for this position)
Location : Baku, Azerbaijan
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in and review process modelling and optimization analysis performed by the Engineering Contractor using Hysys software;
• Participate in 3D model review sessions, HAZOP and SIL/LOPA reviews;
• Review PFD’s and P&ID’s for the offshore process platform received from the Engineering Contractor;
• Participate in preparation of Cause and Effect Matrix for Process, ESD and F&G Systems;
• Prepare procedures and specifications, as necessary;
• Ensure that the Engineering Contractor submits all deliverables on time;
• Perform quality control of the Engineering Contractors’ deliverables;
• Cross-check and assure compliance with relevant procedures, international standards and Company General Specifications;
• Contribute to tendering process for equipment purchases;
• Provide field engineering support during start-up phase of the project
Skills / Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 10 years of experience of work with Engineering company, including work in FEED and/ or detailed engineering of oil & gas processing facilities;
• Evidence of training in safety requirements for oil & gas offshore installations, including explosion mitigation design;
• Competency in analytical methods used within discipline, including theoretical background for analysis programs;
• Knowledge of applicable offshore oil & gas industry codes;
• Proficiency with Hysys process simulation software;
• Competency in preparation of heat and material balance and PFDs;
• Acquaintance with AVEVA E3D / PDMS, or Smart Plant design review software;;
• Fluency in English
