Marketing Specialist 
 
Purpose:

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to negotiate agreements and commercial contracts within approved mandates, initiate business development for sales department, pursue diversion and cargo optimization, and support the execution of marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Investigates ways of generating new business and incremental revenue by developing and maintaining a network of contacts;
• Identifies sales opportunities and supports plans to market these quantities with the maximum net back return for the Company;
• Support to generate new business with customers in the defined geographic region or countries, to enter into new sales agreements to optimize revenue and profitability for the company;
• Maintains relationships with existing customers within the assigned region or countries to protect contract pricing and revenue;
• Establish campaign measurement strategies, define KPIs and metrics, and conduct analysis, learnings and feedback for continuous marketing campaign improvement;
• Manages the negotiation of new commercial agreements;
• Liaises with Legal department on the interpretation and clarification of contract terms and conditions to protect contract pricing and revenue;
• Clearly communicate project objectives, expectations, deadlines, roles and responsibilities to project team members keeping all relevant parties informed of progress, challenges and obstacles;
• Lead research efforts into customer and channel insights, and oversee the messaging and positioning of products and services;
• Ensure high quality preparation of all tenders, proposal and qualifications that communicates the value of our service offerings;
• Utilizing data and findings from market research to create sales and marketing materials;
• Conduct detailed market research, business analytics, summarize and present findings to cross-functional business development teams and support the development of team action plans to drive revenue growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or Journalism from an accredited college or university 5 + years professional experience in marketing and business development in oil & gas industry;
• Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution;
• Industry knowledge of Sales Contracts like Heads of Agreement, Term Sheet, Oil &Gas Sales Purchase Agreement, Confidentiality Agreements, Sales and Purchase Agreement for both FOB & Ex-Ship; Tenders, Bidding process;
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills; able to communicate clearly and precisely with team members;

Job type: full-time

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 am – 17:30pm, 5 working days a week.
