Lead HVAC Design Engineer
Job Summary:
Lead HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible to deliver mechanical design scope of work across specific projects, as part of a single or multi discipline design team and carry out all stages of mechanical design from concept to completion required by the project.
Job Function:
• A comprehensive, current knowledge base of all Mechanical building and infrastructure services
• Data fixation including HVAC design duty parameters & calculation of head loads to determine required capacity & type of AC required.
• Prepare concept designs & design basis report with recommendation of suitable AC system with analysis of options including cost benefit analysis.
• Timely completion of projects including testing & handing over of HVAC systems & AS-Built drawings.
• Familiar with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation
• Prepare cost benefit analysis, tech specs & tender documents.
• Assist clients in tender evaluation & vendor selection.
• Guide HVAC draughtsman for detailed design work including preparation of working drawings.
• Co-ordinate with utility, electrical design groups, project managers & clients for completion of co-ordinate services drawings.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma
• Minimum 5+ years engineering /systems or other related experience.
• Able to design medium to large standard jobs with some deviation from standard tools, products or practices.
• Strong knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals and business operations required.
• Proficiency in programming, job start-up, checkout, and troubleshooting required.
Job type: full-time
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 am – 17:30pm, 5 working days a week.
