Oil and Gas Business Development Manager 
 
Purpose / Role

The purpose of this role is to identify, develop and secure major business changing opportunities. In a continually challenging economic environment the requirement for alternative commercial and innovative proposals is a vital component of the position.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Maximize contact with key accounts, key contacts and other critical people at various client organizations and focus efforts to obtain new work and generation of new enquiries for the business;
• Manage the Sales & Business Development process / pipeline for business to ensure the Division achieves sales targets in all businesses;
• Ensure prequalification of the organization with existing and potential customers, to enable us to be in a position to bid for projects within our sphere of capabilities;
• To ensure that the enquiries are screened and to determine a sales strategy, risk identification, profit potential and analysis, and to ensure communication of customer needs and expectations between company and the client;
•  Ensure liaison with other departments as appropriate in relation to proposals, projects, legal, financing, tax, or other issues;
• Lead strategic positioning, marketing and stakeholder communications to optimize profile in the market;
• Particular focus should be Brownfield Projects and Late Life, positioning “NIPI Neftegas” LLC for growth in the next 3-5 years;
• Attending and providing input to the internal monthly operations meetings including providing an analysis of customer feedback;
• Working with the Proposals function including providing input to tenders/bids and reviewing documentation as required;
• Provide up to date market data to ensure accurate figures and providing forecasts for future performance against Budget;
• Representing the company at conferences, industry events, meetings etc. as required;

Qualifications:

• Experience of successfully pursuing and leading a variety of Oil and Gas related opportunities across regions and sectors;
• 20 years of experience in Business Development and Commercial is essential on a senior level;
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and influencing abilities;
• Experienced negotiator with a proven track record of complex deals closed and delivered;
• Strong evidence of commercial acumen and delivery in dealing with 3rd parties;
• Ability to work with uncertainty and ambiguity without losing sight of the priorities;
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Delivery of consultancy, project, and programme opportunities, for single projects and large multidisciplinary frameworks;

Job type: full-time

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 am – 17:30pm, 5 working days a week.
