General / Hotel Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations functions of the hotel and hold regular briefing and meetings as required
- Ensure full compliance of hotel policies, procedures and service standards
- Handling complaints, and oversee service recovery procedures
- Manage on-going profitability of the hotel
- Act as final decision maker in hiring key staff
- Corporate client handling and take part in new acquisition along
- Responsibility for legalisation, Occupational Health & Safety act, fire regulations and other legal requirements
Requirements
- At least 5 years in a similar position within Hotel
- Understand working with Management contract and Owners.
- Strategic and Commercially minded
- Strong relational experience and used to working with high-profile guests.
- Experienced managing property of 25+ bedrooms
- Pro-actively seeking opportunities and ways to maximize revenue and develop service offered
- Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, creating business plan as well as short, medium and long-term strategies.
- Knowledge of business etiquette, friendliness
- Leadership skills and ability to work in a team
- Computer Literacy: MS Office
- Languages: Russian, Azerbaijani, English – all fluent
