About Company

Founded in 2010, MS Professional Trainings and Career Center is offering services in staff’s professional development and career advancement. Since 2012, the trainings have been provided for the associates of ASAN Service on customer satisfaction, stress management, language skills improvement, including staff development services for several private companies. Simultaneously, we provide consultancy services in terms of local staff selection to foreign companies coming to Azerbaijan. Since 2016, it has offered consulting services for employment of local experts abroad (France, Finland, China).

With the aim of selecting, training and recruiting the qualified workforce who want to work with a legal work permit in Finland - a member of the Schengen zone, MS Professional Trainings and Career Company is looking for candidates in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine to direct to an employer.

Job Description

- Continuously build a clean, testable, scalable (microservices) back-end used by Smarp app by utilizing CQRS and event sourcing (Kafka)
- Spin-off Smarp backend frequently used modules to open source
- Optimize all (Postgre)SQL and/or OrientDB queries using `EXPLAIN`
- Maintain API gateway (GraphQL)
- Minimize back-end to database roundtrips
- Work with third party APIs
- Keep track of changes from third party APIs
- Perform debugging, quality control testing and response to user complaints
- Maintain documentation of RESTful endpoints and APIs to be used by (web) front-end and mobile apps

Skills and knowledges

- Senior-level back-end development experience using, for instance, Go-lang, Java, Python etc.
- You are familiar with NoSQL databases as well
- You are interested in Unit testing and preferably have previous experience
- An attitude to become more of a full-stack developer (if you aren't one already)
- Buzzwords with at least one you are familiar and have experience with (preferably with more/all): TDD (test driven development), Kafka/event sourcing, microservices.
- Excellent communication skills in English. (We provide intensive English language courses)
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of candidacy.
- Provide a document certifying professional education;
- Certificate of conviction (with translation and notarial attestation) (once selected)
- A CV made according to European Union standards

Contract form: Fixed-term 1 year (+ 1 year)

Effective date: Summer 2018

Salary:  Starting from 3000 Euro up to 7000 Euro

Medical insurance: Covering office hours

Apartment: Single room for up to € 300 per month. Kitchen and shower room included.

Work permit: Work permit fee (about 450 Euro per year) is paid at the candidate’s own expense
after the candidate is selected and received a job offer.
