Job title: Head of Sales

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Reporting directly to: Operations Director

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, business and marketing majors preferred.
• Min 5 years in a sales representative role; within industry preferred. One year of prior management experience or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn management basics.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and Russian. English is desirable
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
• Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate (both verbal and written), present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive.
• Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and rational thinking, problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to work well in a team.
• Hard working and dependable.
• Well-developed business senses and interpersonal skills.

Key accountabilities:

• Timely share hiring/manning plan for Sales department, support HR in hiring process;
• Train new sales employees to ensure success, coach and develop direct reports;
• Manage day-to-day performance of all sales team members and deliver regular reviews, recommendations, development plans etc.;
• Work with leadership to generate ideas for motivational initiatives when relevant;
• Work with leadership to generate ideas for launch of new and/or more effective sales channels, improvement of sales tactics in sales and call center sub-departments;
• Lead and schedule regular team meetings with sales team and leadership;
• Track sales team metrics together with sales team leaders and report data to leadership on a regular basis together with key development areas and tools;
• Work with Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation and qualification; analyzing context, trends, customer needs and company/department results; support in forecasting sales/company objectives and quotas, own delivery of the objectives; price strategy development; strengthening plan development and implementation of sales and call center legs;
• Meet pre-determined company goals through the activities of direct reports and their teams;
• Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications when relevant;
• Follow other management recommendations when relevant.
