We are currently looking for experienced candidate to fulfill Chief Accountant

Job Title: Chief Accountant

Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:

• Degree in Finance is required
• 5 years of work experience in Finance
• Experience in accounting
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in English, Russian and Azeri
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and strong organizational/project management skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required

Job responsibilities:

• Preparation of the company's budget
• Prepares balance sheet, operating income statement, budget expenditure summary, and other financial and statistical reports in accordance with local legislation and provides them in the prescribed manner to the relevant authorities.
• Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that may pass independent and governmental audits
• Maintain effective communication with representatives of state bodies (State Social Protection Fund and Ministry of Taxes)
• Analyzes financial position and performance of the company and prepares report on the result of this work for management review;
• Works to improve the system of internal flow of financial documents in order to achieve maximum efficiency, reliability and transparency;
• Ensures strict compliance with the financial and cash discipline, budget for administrative and other expenses.
• Maintains internal tax control over the timely and full payment of taxes and duties to the state budget. Prepares and provides timely reports to the State Social Protection Fund and tax returns;
• Preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances
• Completion of the quarterly and annual regulatory filings; preparation of assigned Quarterly and Annual Statutory Statement pages/schedules.
• Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities and advise management accordingly to support targeted financial performance achievement
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization. Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets
• Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
• Maintain forecasting, budgeting, and actual performance models
• Preparing and interpreting reports, accounts, commentaries and financial statements

Work schedule:

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 18:00. Saturday and Sunday, national holidays and mourning day are non-working days
