About company:

“Hayat Pharm” is a long-term complex project, which is directed towards ensuring of drugs safety of Azerbaijan, decreasing of dependence on imports, and development of export potential, improvement of drugs affordability and quality.

We are currently looking for experienced candidate to fulfill Chief Financial Officer position.

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:

• Degree in Finance is required
• 5 years of managerial work experience in Finance
• Experience in project finance and attraction of investments
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in English, Russian and Azeri
• Progressive Financial Analysis experience preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and strong organizational/project management skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required

Job responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of the company's budget
• Provide decision support by financial modeling, business case analysis and financial/ management reporting
• Oversee the management and coordination of all financial reporting activities for the company including but not limited to: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational budgets
• Interaction with banks, attraction of investments
• Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that may pass independent and governmental audits
• Monitor banking activities of the organization
• Maintain effective communication with representatives of state bodies (State Social Protection Fund and Ministry of Taxes)
• Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities and advise management accordingly to support targeted financial performance achievement
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization. Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets
• Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
• Maintain forecasting, budgeting, and actual performance models
• Preparing and interpreting reports, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
• Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans

Work schedule:

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 18:00. Saturday and Sunday, national holidays and mourning day are non-working days
