Job Role Details: Business Development Manager

Main Tasks

• Gauge market demand for DGF service (performs competitor, customer and market research at country level)
• Deliver input and execute global/regional/local strategies (e.g. sector-specific activities)
• Ensure implementation of new services in line with customer expectations and needs
• Initiate development of products that meet market demand, by identifying opportunities and then communicating with Product and Sales teams
• Provide input on service elements
• Plan, coordinate and define the sales strategy and pricing for new and existing customers
• Participate in pricing for assigned accounts and in contractual negotiations with the aim of achieving the best possible conditions for DGF
• Key contact with regards to commercial business growth and sales development
• Expert contact to customers and support for developing customer prioritization  and target lists
• Support and engender good customer relations internally and externally
• Support in solution design for customer requests in complex priority cases
• Share best practice and train Sales people on products
• Conduct customer visits
• Prepare commercial proposals tender documentation 
• Ensure timely and consistent input to CRM Sales module
• Prepare regular reporting
• Communicate with external service providers (e.g. suppliers where necessary)
• Deliver on expected level of Sales KPIs

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure growth of DGF market share and customer portfolio
• Ensures high customer satisfaction and growth regarding own customers

Qualifications

• College/University Degree or similar. Preferably with 3-5 years related working experience.

• Profound knowledge of logistics processes, rules and regulations
