Experienced Specialist in Accounting & Tax Compliance Group
Requirements:
• University degree in Economics/Finance;
• At least two years of experience in accounting;
• Experience with a Big Four or Azerbaijani accounting services organization is an asset;
• Advanced written and spoken Azerbaijani and English, Russian is an asset;
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, knowledge of 1C or any other accounting software is an asset;
• High degree of self-motivation and strong career aspirations;
• Good knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP/NAS, Azerbaijan tax, social insurance legislation;
• Having ACCA papers passed is an asset;
• Ability to focus on client service and strive to exceed clients' expectations while remaining committed to Deloitte vision and objectives;
• Ability to work in a team;
• High commitment to work;
• Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and dynamic conditions.
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out accounting for clients;
• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
• Calculation of tax liabilities of clients;
• Payroll calculation;
• Preparation of tax returns and reports to other authorities (social insurance, statistics and employment fund);
• Preparation of internal reports for clients, where necessary;
• Liaison with tax authorities for tax matters of clients;
• Support clients during statutory tax audits;
• Communication with clients on daily accounting/tax matters;
• Fulfill any other related tasks assigned by managers or partner.
