Position: IT Senior Enterprise platforms Specialist
Main responsibilities
• Participate in all phases of the business applications projects, preparation lifecycle, gather initial business requirements, create requests for proposal and evaluation
• To ensure that all services are planned, developed, implemented and integrated according to the required Service Levels to meet Customer Satisfaction Targets and international standards
• Work with all relevant teams to ensure appropriate quality level of applications and platforms is reached for release in production
• Document systems and platforms functionalities and infrastructure including hardware and software systems
• Support administration of existing systems and tools in accordance with corporate standards
• Support Operations teams and participate in resolution of any platform and application related problems and provide preventive actions
• Interact with vendors regarding problems, required changes and new configurations
• Configure existing informational systems and tools
• Report on system statuses, failures, violations, performed preventive works and actions
• Be available 24/7 in order to support escalations for solving of business critical problems or participate in planned works whenever necessary (new configurations, system updates, upgrades etc.)
• Preform Vendor, Release and Change Management
Qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this position
Education
• Bachelor Degree in Applied Mathematics/Information Technologies
Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience at similar role
• Good Mobile telecommunications knowledge
• Programming background
• Good analytical and logical skills
Computer skills
• Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
• Basic Programming language skills (C#, Java or other)
• Knowledge of XML (knowledge of SOAP and/or XSLT is advantage)
• UNIX/LINUX (on user level), Windows (on user level)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
Languages
• Advanced knowledge of Azeri, English
• Russian language is a plus
