Job title: HSEQ Manager

Work location: Office / Onshore sites and facilities

Experience: Minimum 10 years of extensive HSEQ experience and minimum 5 years of management experience

Education: University degree in a relevant subject

• Lead Auditor Qualifications (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001)
• Experience in obtaining & maintaining ISO 9001 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification
• Demonstrates clear and successful strategic thinking
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Incident Investigation skills
• Presentation skills
• Ability to actively develop and build relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding the client requirements
• Clear leadership and motivating abilities
• NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent
• COSHH awareness, working at Height awareness, etc.
• Computer Literacy: Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook
• Health/Safety and Environmental Risk Assessment – comprehensive knowledge and application
• Emergency preparedness and response management

Duties:

HSEQ Manager is responsible to provide the management, strategy and direction to deliver HSEQ excellence and risk management to the Company. Reporting to the General Manager, the HSEQ manager develops and improves HSEQ policies and ensure compliance with them and with legislative requirements.

• Accountable supporting the strategy and vision to deliver HSEQ excellence and risk management
• Responsible for the delivery of: legislative compliance, management systems expertise, incident investigation management, injury and return to work guidance, HSEQ improvement plans, emergency response and security arrangements, HSEQ risk, assurance deliverables and implement corporate initiatives
• Promote safety campaigns and systems of work both on and offshore
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s Management System Procedures
• Selects, trains, develops and motivates HSEQ staff to deliver excellence within constraints of specific objectives, budget and target dates
• Carry out competence assessment of HSEQ team members
• Demonstrates the ability to manage uncertainty to achieve a balance in the competing demands of the business
• Monitors the recording, reporting and analysis of HSEQ performance metrics
• Prepares and submits reports to management on current contract status and recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct audits of all installations, Company premises, warehouse, storage yards and parking areas in accordance with Company procedures.
• Maintain the Management System in accordance to Company standards. Ensuring internal, external, onshore & offshore audits are planned, completed, recorded and actions closed out in a timely manner.
