COMPANY PRESENTATION

Founded in 2009, Capago International is the exclusive outsourced agent for the management of Schengen visa applications on behalf of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (M.A.E.D.I.) in South Africa, Kuwait, Qatar and Azerbaijan from October 2017.

Capago International is also the service provider of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in South Africa. Each year, we assist more than 150 000 applicants in the filing of their visa applications for Europe.

DETAIL

The Finance and Accounts Administration Officer fulfils the principal mission of, maintaining the financial health of the organization, performing accounting duties, as well as providing financial reports and interpreting financial information while recommending further courses of action to higher management. The Finance & Accounts Administration Manager is equally responsible for advising higher management on investment activities and recommending strategies that the company should take pertaining to the organisation's finances. In the accounts administration role, the Finance & Accounts Administration Manager is also tasked with overall management of the company's daily accounts and ensuring the same are maintained in a healthy state.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

● Prepare monthly payroll;
● Prepare asset register by conducting a stocktake of all company assets;
● Prepare liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
● Oversee processing of all accounting entries into the company software Passaero V2;
● Process daily Consulate, supplier or any other stakeholder payments on the company online banking accounts;
● Manage business online bank accounts e.g. urgent large payments on company bank accounts;
● Monitor bank balances, plan and document cash flow needs;
● Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports;
● Ensure company compliance with the tax authority in Azerbaijan;
● Ensure compliance with Azerbaijan government requirements for business operators in terms of scheduled payments to regulators;
● Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options;
● Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents;
● Maintain accounting controls by outlining policies and procedures or working hand-in-hand with HR to outline policies and procedures linked to finances and accounts;
● Guide junior administration staff by coordinating activities and providing necessary training where needs be;
● Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information on a regular basis;
● Secure financial information by completing database backups as recommended by Capago International IT department.

The Finance and Accounts Administration Officer reports directly to the designated Management personnel in their respective center.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

● Minimum : Baccalaureate or equivalent
● University or Tertiary Institution degree or diploma in the Accounting or Finance fields.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

● Proof of at least 3 years of experience in a similar, senior Finance and Accounts administration position.

● Good command of written and spoken English and Russian language skills;
● Excellent Microsoft Excel skills;
● Excellent analytical skills;
● Excellent report-writing skills;
● Confident communicator and presenter;
● Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft package, MS-Office tools)
● Strong organisational skills;
● Ability to meet deadlines;
● Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with an International team;

● Ability to set, meet and exceed targets;
