Position: IT Senior ERP Technical Specialist
Department: Customer and Enterprise Management Platforms
Line manager: Head of IT ERP Unit
Responsibilities
• Analysis of change requests, functional specifications, test scenarios and use cases.
• Design of technical specifications of extensions with high complexity (MD.070).
• To build/adjust Concurrent Programs, XML Publisher reports, Form’s customization, integration with third party systems using SOA or other methods.
• Review of scripts built by technical analysts (internal and external) and provides recommendation for optimization.
• Coding and unit testing of script statements.
• Performance tuning in cooperation with Applications DBA.
• Analysis of errors and debugging.
• Analysis of data via ad-hoc SQL queries.
• Compliance with the IT Change Management Guideline.
• Compliance with the ERP Change Management Guideline.
• Compliance with the IT SDLC Guideline.
• Compliance with the Oracle AIM (Application Implementation Method) guideline.
• Full compliance with IT Standards & Policies
• Perform services within assigned role in accordance with advice and/or expectations of IT and its Management Team (HOD’s & CIO)
• To transfer know-how to the team members
• To carry out other tasks related to the position assigned by management
• To respect and follow internal regulations and procedures
Qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this position
Education
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Information Technology.
• Basic understanding of accounting
Experience
• 3 years in related area
Special professional skills
• Knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, BI / XML Publisher, Oracle Workflow, OAF, Java, SOA Gateway
• Knowledge of Linux RedHad
Computer skills
• Knowledge of MS office
• Proficiency in software tools required to perform the job tasks
Languages
• Azeri – advanced
• English – advanced
• Russian – is an advantage
Personal skills Behavioral
• Result oriented
• Time estimates of the workload of trouble tickets and change requests according to Oracle AIM.
• Ability to perform the job in irregular hours.
• Follow-up of trouble tickets and change requests and timely escalation.
