Position: HSE Engineer
Work Location: Base Office
Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year (renewable)
Education: Degree in Safety and Environmental Management in oil & gas industry or any relevant degree;
Years of Working Experience: 3-5 years
Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent)
Other Skills/Certificates Required: Fluency in standard software for PC such as MS Office;
Responsibilities:
• Provide necessary support to ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the safety Management System throughout the engineering and development phases of the project;
• Assist the Project engineering and management teams in the Risk Management process (i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, Risk Assessment, etc.)
• Plan, define and supervise safety procedures at project and construction level;
• Update and spread safety rules, both at the organizational and employees level;
• Conduct internal safety audits;
• Ensure that knowledge of authorization regulations and processes for the safety of plants and sites is updated and disseminated;
• Participate in pre-construction survey, identify safety criticalities and design mitigation measures;
• Take part in accident / incident investigation;
• Participate in HSE Risk Management and Occupational Safety Risk Assessment;
• Assure that proper vessel HSE management system is developed and implemented on board SCV before completion of the activation phase (e.g. Vessel HSE Discipline Manual, HSE sections concerning vessel safety case and Job Cards, etc.);
• Support LiHS process for cascading and implementing LiHS phases in the SCV team;
• Assure that proper HSE trainings are addressed and delivered to SCV crew according to Saipem Corporate Matrix and Local requirements;
• Provide HSE technical review / inputs for vessel specific HSE design items and procedures;
• Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior;
