Job title: Market Analyst
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Our requirements:
• Business or marketing-related degree is preferred
• Experience in customer & market research, business development, analysis
• Relevant product and industry knowledge is preferred
• Excellent business writing, presentation and communication skills in Azerbaijani and English. Russian is an advantage
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets
• Excellent Office programs skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to details
• Honesty and reliability
Key accountabilities:
• Research and market monitoring for on-going products
• Identify new market opportunities (new products and projects), research and make recommendations in line with proposed new opportunities
• Create/Improve questionnaires and surveys
• Offer insights about product potentials
• Making presentations in different formats, generate reports with the executed research/analysis results and proposed recommendations
• Determine brand perceptions and reputations
• Evaluate market penetration
• Be in touch with the outside market and own 5C’s:
o analyze competitors, their marketing activities, pricing, service, etc
o be aware of the changes in context
o understand the collaborators
o have understanding and on-going updates about customers/consumers/shoppers, their profiles, habits and changes in all of these, make recommendations based on this knowledge
o know company strategy and priorities, make recommendations for change based on the market trends
• Follow other recommendations of management
