The French restaurants chain «Paul» with a branch in Azerbaijan are currently seeking talented, enthusiastic and experienced Pastry Chef to join our highly motivated staff, to produce an array of modern, high end pastries and desserts.
Responsibilities:
• Baking pastry and cakes on certain recipes, quality and standards
• Monitoring the use of techniques and recipes of French pastry
• Preparing and cook sufficient food to provide the agreed amount of customer choice with minimum wastage.
• Ensuring the effective control of a specific station within the pastry
• Ensuring all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures.
• Ensuring food is prepared to required standards checking for taste, presentation and quality.
• Compliance with established schedules
• Anticipate demand and manage inventory
• Compliance hygiene and safety standards
• Trainings new bakery employees
• Prepare sweets for the relevant orders
• Teamwork
• Development of new recipes, cooking confectionery
• Decoration and decoration products
• Creating and preparing desserts in accordance with the existent menus;
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Chef Pastry within a 5* hotel or luxury restaurant
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Azeri, English and Russian languages.
• Ability to work with and flexible shift work
• Knowledge of the art decoration of sweets, cakes
• Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exceptional standards
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Resilience and drive to get things right first time
