Position: Chief Accountant
Age: 25-35

Primary responsibilities of the role are (but not limited to):
Compliance with Azeri GAAP
Financial reporting to the local management team
Focal point of contact for tax queries, tax returns and audit management
Balance sheet management and reconciliation
Accounts payable process
Accounts receivable process 
Client and vendor contract management
Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Computation and payment of staff salaries on a monthly basis
Supervision the day¬to‐day operation of the accounting
Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
Other financial management duties assigned by the Director of Finance

Requirements:

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills (an effective communicator).
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English and Russian
Ability to coach and mentor others
Microsoft Office programs (an advanced excel user )
ERP Knowledge essential
Minimum 3 years in finance, 1 years in supervisory role
Strong knowledge of statutory accounting procedures and principles, IFRS, Tax and Labor Legislation
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment and under pressure;
ACCA, CIMA certificate will have additional preferences.
