Title: Store Manager

Function: Fashion industry Sales

Reports to: Mall Manager, Sales Manager

Purpose:

Retail managers are responsible for the day-to-day running of stores or departments. Retail managers ensure promotions are run accurately and to the company's standards. They make sure that staff is all working towards the target for the day and that excellent customer care standards are met at all times.

Job Responsibility including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

1. To meet the targets or to ensure that procedures are in place, driving them, monitoring and putting corrective actions in place when necessary, for all the following procedures:
2. Security and Shrinkage
3. Cash desk management
4. Administration management
5. Health and Safety
6. To control stationary, cleaning, telephone, post, maintenance, uniforms and travel costs in line with Company budgets.
7. To ensure that procedures are in place, driving them, monitoring and putting corrective actions in place when necessary for all the following procedures
- Payroll and Payroll System
- HR: ER processes, sickness and absence management
- Recruitment: To forward thinking and planning with low cost initiatives
8. To be a role model, according to skills and attitudes below.
9. To have clear, timely and effective communication with Head Office, Product Managers, Regional Manger and/or Commercial Directors and with the store overall with the relevant follow-ups.
10. To manage conflict effectively respecting Company standards.
11. To give and receive constructive and honest feedback and criticism for/from people they work with in a positive manner and to use it for their own development and their team.
12. To develop the team through performance reviews and Personal development plans with the relevant follow-ups.
13. To ensure that inductions and relevant training are carried out for all employees.
14. To manage succession plans in the store (including Company development programs).
15. To manage performance of the relevant employees and to coach them when needed.
16. Sales: To use commercial information and product knowledge to drive sales and other activity in the store using the internal tools provided.
17. Sales: To drive marketing initiatives and sales performance.
18. Hours: To manage the budget of hours in the store effectively.
19. Rota: To design the ideal rota to ensure you have people in the right place at the right time.
20. Productivity or cash/unit: To meet the budget or to have all procedures in place to make it happen, monitoring and taking corrective actions when necessary.
21. Competitor awareness: To be aware, involved and create and manage relationships and / or do Competitor Shopping giving relevant feedback to appropriate parties such as product managers, regional managers and teams.
22. To follow the minimums of customer service consistently and drive the team to ensure that these minimums are maintained across the store.
23. To be responsible for customer satisfaction in the store.
24. To lead by example, ensuring a high level of customer service is offered.
25. To drive, monitor and support customer service action plans.
26. To ensure that order and replenishment are done timely and effectively.
27. To ensure that the store is merchandised according to the best sellers and current trends.
28. To ensure that the stockroom is organized efficiently.
 
Experience and Qualifications:

1. Good knowledge of the Company, the brand and the store they are applying for.
2. Solid experience managing a similar fast-paced retail operation
3. Passion for fashion, market, competitors and trend awareness.
4. Proven ability to maximize profitability and drive sales.
5. Strong team management experience.
6. Has lead a stable and consistent career.
7. English and Russian language skills must be minimum upper intermediate.
