EIT Network design and Architecture knowledge, Advanced Domain Administration knowledge, Virtualization knowledge, Advanced IP Network (Firewall and Layer 2/3 switches) and telecommunications systems  transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation  knowledge, Information Security principles and controls knowledge.

Required Experience:

At Least 5 years System Administration experience

Level of language skills, PC skills etc: 

Azeri, Russian and English

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (subject to minor review):

• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations according EIT policy and procedures.
• Design, configure, and test EIT hardware, networking software and operating system software.
• Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use
• Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
• Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; in case escalating problems to vendor/service provider.
• Implement changes (release management and upgrade) to improve EIT systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
