Caspian Investment Development Corporation (CIDC Baku LLC) is the leading quality manufacturer of hygiene products as baby diapers, household tissue products, and industrial/commercial tissues in Azerbaijan and the Caspian region.

Following successful commencement of production the Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a highly motivated team with skills, proven potentials and the abilities to drive the vision, mission and values of the Company. 

We are currently looking for a Lawyer to join our Company.

The duties will include (but not limited to):

• Advising to management on commercial contracts and agreements, company law, government law, international law and corporate compliance
• Prepare and review agreements, contracts, notices and other legal documentation relating to all aspects of the business of the company
• Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company, develop and recommend company policy and position on both legal and business issues
Assists to management team in all legal contractual negotiations
• Interpreting laws, rulings and regulations
Manages contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance
• Attends client liaison meetings as required
• Responsible for providing high level, accurate legal advice in a mixed case load of local government law areas
• Represents the company in civil and administrative proceedings
• Advising internal departments around legal requirements

Requirements and skills for this position:

• University degree in Law (International background is an advantage)
• Qualified lawyer with a minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate law
• Knowledge of Civil, Labour, Criminal, Taxes, Insurance and Contract Law, the basic norms of International law
Ability to communicate persuasively and clearly, both orally and in writing
• Ability to solve problems in a methodical and practical way
Ability to communicate and express information in written and oral form in Azeri and English
• Highly skilled in negotiating and debating
• Fluent in English, Azeri and Russian
