Dear All,
The British Embassy in Azerbaijan is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking for a Locally Engaged full-time Trade Officer, A2 based in Baku.
Azerbaijan and Britain have strong bilateral relations and share common interests on the international stage. The UK has consistently been Azerbaijan’s largest foreign investor and is well placed to do more. An ambition strengthened by the setting up of the UK-Azerbaijan Joint Inter-governmental Trade and Economic Commission last year.
The position of a full-time Trade Officer will assist the Embassy’s Commercial section to identify business opportunities in Azerbaijan and undertake market research reports for UK businesses. Applications are therefore invited from self-motivated, proactive candidates to join the team.
