Job Title: Project Lifting Coordinator
Project: South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion
Work location: Azerbaijan & Georgia work sites along the Pipeline
Reports to: Construction Manager
Project Lifting Coordinator has overall responsibility for SAJV of all lifting and rigging activities.
Project Lifting Coordinator shall:
• Be competent in their role and have a recognized lifting qualification
• Be familiar with relevant parts of the Project Health and Safety Plan
• Be responsible for organisation and control of the lifting operation
• Provide the planning, selection of lifting equipment, instruction and supervision necessary for the task to be undertaken safely
• Have a written authorisation from their employer (which shall be available on file in the site HSS office)
• Be approved by the AGT Dev Lifting Technical Authority (LTA).
Project Lifting Coordinator that:
• Suitable and sufficient Lift Plan and Risk Assessment are in place for the lifting operation
• Lifting equipment and lifting accessories have certification proving inspection by an approved third party within the previous six (6) months
• Equipment is inspected pre-use by a Competent Person
• Personnel involved in the lifting operation are competent and have the relevant valid training to safely undertake their role
• Operators possess valid certification for the equipment being used
• Adequate inspection / examination and maintenance of the lifting appliances and lifting accessories has been carried out, consistent with BS 7121
• An effective procedure is in place for reporting defects and incidents and taking necessary corrective action
• A Task Risk Assessment (TRA) is conducted and signed by the crew, including the Lifting Equipment Operator, just before the lift
• The Lifting Supervisor is fully briefed on the contents of the risk assessment, method statement or lift plan.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Oil & Gas companies as Lifting Coordinator and/or engineer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Experience with working internationally; within matrix organizations and with a variety of cultures,
• High skill levels in both written and verbal communication in English language;
• Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Power-point.
