Lifting/Rigging Engineer
Location: Sumqayit
Requirements:
Education: May require a high school diploma or its equivalent
Experience: At least 5 years related experience in a yard or site environment ideally in Oilfield
Language skills: Good command of English, with Azeri/Russian languages would be advantageous.
Principal Responsibilities:
Preparation of all Lifting and Rigging Plans on the project.
Ensure Lifting and Rigging plans are completed within the agreed timeframe and in line with the project schedule.
Identify materials and equipment required in order to execute safe lifts on the project.
Provide lifting constructability input into all new designs as requested by the Project Management team
Develop installation methodologies and sequencing for all new equipment.
Identify any special construction equipment or tooling.
Approve contractors lifting equipment and materials.
Audit of Construction contractors Lifting and Rigging capabilities.
