Position: Bartender
Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Providing warm, sincere and engaging service to our Guests
• Preparing innovative drinks and cocktails to exacting specifications
• Utilizing suggestive selling and “romancing” techniques in enhance Guest experience
• Practicing responsible alcohol service at all times
• Completing daily requisitions and ensure adequate stock is maintained at all times
• Treating each and every Guest as a unique individual
• Providing anticipatory service
• Maintaining a pristine and organized work area at all times
• Following all Fairmont Service Essentials rigorously
• Utilizing Guest name recognition and personalized individual touches to ensure our Guests feel valued
• Effectively working as part of a team, assisting fellow colleagues whenever possible
• Actively participating in initial and ongoing training with focus on continued development of knowledge and service techniques
• Actively participating in communication meetings and daily shift briefs
• Continually making suggestions to improve the department
• Working in a safe manner and follow all health and safety regulations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Frequent sitting and walking throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous bartending experience required
• Passion for food, wine and beverage
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written in English and Azeri or Turkish is required
• Strong interpersonal
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on Guest needs
