Steel Structual QC Inspector

Verification and survilence of installation of pipe rack and other steel structal facilities according to  quality criteria of the existing codes and design and ensure the construction of facilities in compliance with IFC drawings.

• Monitoring and inspecting of all the steel structural works. Execution of construction activities as specified, co-ordination of inspection and testing activities on the site.
• Inspection and checking of torque values of bolts and nuts.
• Respond to request for inspection / approval in a timely manner.
• Ensure there are no ambiguity in the agreed standards to be achieved.
• Regular reporting of progress and performance to QA/QC Manager and others as instructed.
• Provide an inspection service to ensure that workmanship and materials are as specified by the Client.
• Resolve quality issues in a pragmatic manner at the earliest opportunity, to the maximum benefit of the business.
• Ensures that all test results are verified to meet contract requirements
• Monitor’s material storage area and takes necessary measures to prevent damage
• Reports non-conforming activities,  propose rectification strategy and follow-up on remedial works

Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in the Construction industry;Knowledge and experience with QA/QC standards and practices is desirable. Preferably good English speaking;The computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office and e-mail.
