JOB TITLE:  Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Regular reconciliation of statements with suppliers;
• Preparation of Payment Orders;
• Bank Allocations in the accounting software;
• Allocation of Advances and timely clearing of advance account;
• Monthly reconciliation of RNV account;
• Monthly review of aged creditors report;
• Preparation of monthly Cash Request Forms;
• Preparation of monthly Cash Flow reports;
• Monthly Bank Reconciliation;
• To prepare ad hoc reports as and when required by the Finance Manager and/or Financial Controller.

Please note that the subject job holder is not restricted to only the above duties and responsibilities.  They may be required to do work that is within their level of capability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related field;
• 1-3 years of experience in the area of accounting;
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani, knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is an advantage, but not must;
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage;
• Good skills to Intermediate level in Microsoft products.
