International Company is looking for a professional candidate to the position of Chief Accountant.

Salary 2000 AZN

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting 

• Provide all accounting and treasury services and controls
• Ensure full corporate compliance, producing all statutory, regulatory and management accounting documents
• Provide a full range of management control services enabling management to set, monitor and control business performance
• Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of financial information and trends, preparation of forecasts, monthly variance commentary and quarterly presentations
• Prepare and analyze the cash flow balances to ensure operations can continue at the required level

Management 

• Manage the finance function to ensure timely and accurate accounting and finance services
• Ensure transactions comply with corporate and regional policies and procedures
• Direct the finance function with full responsibility for all staff related issues aligned with the Regional Financial matrix, including conducting performance appraisals and compensation proposals
• Ensure the country budget process is effectively and efficiently undertaken
• Develop ideas and manage the implementation of country finance initiatives
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the work produced by any outside firm performing a finance function on behalf of the Marsh operation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 
Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications:

• University degree in Finance or Economics or Professional financial qualification
• Expert understanding of statutory, regulatory and accounting standards and financial management
• At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in preparing a financial budget
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate in English and local language at all levels, translate finance into business language and manage people
