Drilling Fluids Engineer

Key responsibilities:

 The development and implementation of drilling fluids requirement;
 Preparation of drilling fluid programs and end of well reports;
 Liaison with the cementing division;
 Delivery of work process procedures and well bore management practices;
 Monitor the drilling mud and completions fluids chemical inventory;
 Supervision of assigned Field Service Engineers or Service Coordinators;
 Rig site visits as required for preparation of work, to perform rig audits, pre job meeting with mud engineers and rig personal;
 Maintain regular communication with the Drilling Fluids Service Companies discuss and agree management of change for any changes in the scope of work;
 Monitor wellbore construction process concerning drilling fluids, completion fluids and solids control  waste management.

Required general qualifications of the candidate:

• Higher (preferably tertiary) education;
• At least 5 years of experience in Drilling and Completion Fluids onshore/offshore;
• At least 5 years of experience with various types of drilling fluids WBM/OBM and completion fluids;
• Good communication and influencing skills;
• Ambition to succeed;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Multilingual (Azeri, English, Russian);
• Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
