Job Title: STEP Materials Superintendent

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and Comply with Company QHSE System & Policies.
• Responsible for all aspects of Site & Warehouse Operations.
• Managing a team in a busy work environment.
• Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
• Creating, managing and analysing performance data and other information.
• Ensuring that capacity and capability are continually planned.
• Encouraging, identifying and developing best practice strategy.
• Ensuring compliance to all Environmental Health & Safety goals & objectives.
• Producing and Reviewing Operations Procedures which define how the business is to be run.
• Working closely with the Warehouse Superintendent, Financial Manager, Facilities Manager & HR department.
• Responsible for overseeing identification, shipping and disposal of the project surplus.
• Ensure all material is maintained in storage in compliance with client storage matrix and preservation programme.
• Leads and coordinates all Warehouse functions and the personnel assigned to it: including but not limited to receiving, validating material per material inspection, material movement, preservation, storage and outbound logistics.
• Manage inbound/outbound site logistics, site purchasing for construction and operations.
• Establishing criteria for the effective management of inventory, inventory accuracy, storage and movement of goods and services.
• Contributing to the establishment of tactical plans to achieve cost savings in strategic sourcing, inventory, warehousing and transportation objective.
• Ensuring material received is the material ordered, inspected for damage and meets required specification.
• Ensuring documentation is complete supporting managed material and kept on file for record.
• Maintain inventory of remaining / scrapped / sold equipment
• Maintain accurate identification of equipment / materials stored in warehouse or yard.
• Manage and minute regular materials status meetings in coordination with BP and HSEQ.
• Ensure that all materials movement are recorded timely into MAXIMO or SAP. 
• Ensuring that all materials at the warehouse are stored correctly, are secure and in safe condition, free of damage in accordance with normal procedures.
• Partake in regular operation meetings in SPS Supply Base.
• Participate in ST safety meeting / forums and BP Monthly meetings
• Other reasonable tasks as required by Company Management.

HSEQ

• Promote & maintain Health, Safety & Environmental culture within Materials & Warehouse team.
• Monitoring and prevention of unsafe situations.
• Ensure full compliance with all HSE and Operating Procedure. Participate and promote the “BOSS System”, carry out site walk about  COS’s, TBT ‘s, Risk Assessments and complete PTW as necessary, to ensure safe and secure work performed by all Operations, contractors and Third Party personnel.
• Ensure that all Warehouse personnel wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain housekeeping standards by involving all warehouse team.
• Ensure that all warehouse personnel have the right and appropriate documentation and certification to carry out responsibilities, which are required for their position and are properly trained in all aspects of their job function.
• Ensuring that all safety rules and procedures are followed by the personnel and conform to the professional standards prescribed by the company.
• Maintain awareness of the potential significant environmental and social aspects and impacts of the operation.
• Constantly look for and act in the ways that reduce the health and safety risks, and the environmental, social, and security impact of your job and initiate improvements.
• Ensure that Warehouse operations and facilities are conducted in accordance with security procedures.

Customers

• Liaison with client, contractors and 3rd parties.
• Communicate and maintain good working relationship with customers and clients in accordance with contractual work scopes.

Key Job Requirements: 

Work experience: 10 years’ experience in warehouse and materials management

Education:            

Knowledge:  Warehouse and Supply Base operations, PTW system and bp COW process.          

Skills: Excellent communication skills, good command of English and awareness in Warehouse Management systems                 

Other requirements:
Produce a one year improvement plan for the Sangachal operation
