Job Title: Sales Director

Location: Yay Gallery

Reports to: Gallery Director

Key Accountabilities

1. Developing an Azeri collector’s base
2. Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
3. Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base
4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
5. Market analysis on a quarter basis
6. Searching for new clients, both individual and corporate
7. Representative functions
8. Perfect awareness about the artists and available work
9. Developing the proposal with Gallery Director
10. Control of the presentation creating process with the designer
11. Approaching new clients with proposal
12. Presentation to the client (together with Gallery Director)
13. Price-list composing
14. Sales coordination
15. Travelling abroad to the art fairs and exhibitions
16. Reporting to Gallery Director and Strategic Director on a monthly basis

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

- Fluent Russian, Azerbaijani, English spoken and written
- University degree, preferably in Economics/Marketing
- Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Skills in working with artists and artworks
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at various levels both internally and externally
- Have good time management, planning and organizational skills
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently when required
- Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills
- Have objectives as promotion and career in sales
- Analytical, creative and strategic minded with good follow-up capacity
- Very strong local network of contacts
- Interest to art and eagerness to develop in this area
