Intertek Global Limited is currently looking for Project Managers for refinery and petrochemical projects in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.

Previous expatriate experience in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Russia is required.
 
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Master's degree would be considered an asset;
10 or more years of experience in the engineering, QA/QC  and delivery of Refinery projects;
5 or more years of experience as a project manager for Refinery projects;
Proven leadership and management skills and a strong technical background
Track record of successful delivery of refinery projects from feasibility, execution through to commissioning is required for this role;
 
Responsibilities
 
• Manage projects from award to completion
• Liaise with Clients and engineers
• Oversee site activities to ensure highest quality and safety obligations are met
• Monitor site subcontractors
• Procurement Assistance
• Track all project costs to ensure completion within budget
• Provides technical and administrative project management support during Execution stage.
• Revises engineering standards Ensures compliance with refinery policies and procedures including stewardship of project management of change (MOC).
• Works with Project Controls to ensure optimization of project resources within budget and established quality, cost and schedule parameters.
• Conducts productivity analysis to identify and resolve critical variances.
• Maintains accurate and current project documentation.
• Develops start-up manuals, operating and emergency response procedures, training materials, etc
• Develop project schedules and milestones and monitor progress and status
• Provide progress reports, schedule and cost tracking to Management as required
