Structural Designer

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Structural Designer to join our team in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Job Duties

• Preparation of steel general arrangement and detail drawings.
• Preparation of pipe support drawings.
• Preparation of Material Take-off and Weight Control reports
• Working with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are   achieved and maintained.
• Occasional offshore trips to platforms to carry out survey work and generate survey reports based on findings.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and high degree of knowledge with structural drafting standards
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• High productivity and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as strong teamwork abilities.
• Good standard of spoken English language.

Required Experience

• Degree or diploma from an accredited university, technical school, or college
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the structural engineering field, with a focus on design and drafting    work
• Offshore and Brownfield experience preferred.
