PwC Tax Consultant – TMAS (Tax Management & Accounting Services)

The Opportunity

PricewaterhouseCoopers Azerbaijan is seeking candidates to join the firm as Tax Consultant in Tax & Legal Department.

Main responsibilities

• Review source documents and make relevant posing into 1C;
• Prepare invoices and VAT invoices and process them into 1C;Professional development (including studies for the internationally recognized ACCA qualification, technical and soft skills training courses)
• Calculate depreciation and prepare Fixed Assets Register for tax purposes;
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/yearly tax returns including but not limited to VAT reporting, Personal income tax, Withholding tax, Corporate profit tax and etc. to various State authorities;
• Independently work with and research into Tax Code, Labour Code and other legislation documents when it is required;

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor degree or above in economics, accounting or finance;
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the fields of finance, accounting, tax compliance and reporting or similar areas;
• A good understanding of general accounting principles;
• Tax advisory experience on local tax code and PSA is preferable;
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel);
• 1C knowledge is an advantage;
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA professional qualification is an advantage;
• Strong research and analytical skills and proactive approach to delivering solutions;
• Report preparation and writing skills;
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and English language skills, both verbal and written;
• Ability to work individually and in team;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• Ability to learn and adapt well to new circumstances, information and challenges;
• Strong communication skills.
