Tax Consultant

The Role:

 Carry out basic research on specific matters under supervision of more senior staff;
 Draft routine compliance letters and consultancy letters to clients;
 Check tax assessments to computation;
 Deal with routine client and Tax Inspectorate enquiries;
 Preparation of engagement letters under supervision for corporate and personal engagements;
 Preparation of fee analysis and estimates on request of Manager;
 Assistance in aspects of the tax review of the audit file and assist the TC/TM/STM in drafting the tax sign-off memo;
 Preparation of tax returns based on information received from clients for TC/TM/STM review;
 Invoicing and bill collection;
 Azeri-English-Russian translations;

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 Hold a university degree in Finance & Accounting or MBA degree;
 At least 1 year of relevant experience in finance, law, and/or accounting is preferable;
 Excellent business writing skills and fluency in English, and Azeri. Excellent Russian language knowledge is preferable;
 Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio;
 Capable of working in a team environment;
 Strong communication skills;
 Motivated and demonstrate initiative;
 Integrity and professionalism;
