Tax Consultant
The Role:
Carry out basic research on specific matters under supervision of more senior staff;
Draft routine compliance letters and consultancy letters to clients;
Check tax assessments to computation;
Deal with routine client and Tax Inspectorate enquiries;
Preparation of engagement letters under supervision for corporate and personal engagements;
Preparation of fee analysis and estimates on request of Manager;
Assistance in aspects of the tax review of the audit file and assist the TC/TM/STM in drafting the tax sign-off memo;
Preparation of tax returns based on information received from clients for TC/TM/STM review;
Invoicing and bill collection;
Azeri-English-Russian translations;
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Hold a university degree in Finance & Accounting or MBA degree;
At least 1 year of relevant experience in finance, law, and/or accounting is preferable;
Excellent business writing skills and fluency in English, and Azeri. Excellent Russian language knowledge is preferable;
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio;
Capable of working in a team environment;
Strong communication skills;
Motivated and demonstrate initiative;
Integrity and professionalism;
