Key Responsibilities

• To provide support in business development sphere to the Hospitality & Agriculture sector related companies within Synergy Group OJSC;
• To effectively eliminate all business related difficulties in management process;
• To control and provide necessary support in implementation of the annual targets (KPIs) of the subsidiaries;
• To establish effective communication strategy and act as an information bridge between Hospitality & Agriculture sector related management and Synergy Group management;
• Investigate the economic conditions surrounding business activity such as industry trends and competition;
• Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments;
• Identify new business by analyzing business needs;
• Develop key client relationships; develop expertise on assigned clients and their business;
• Develop a situation and SWOT analysis to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business;
• Prepare the Business Development and Work Plan; Define and follow up of yearly targets and objectives;
• Provide oversight and accountability forproject(s);
• Conduct key customer service visits throughout the project, from pre-construction client surveys to close-out, ensuring project commitments are met, and issues are resolved;
• Assist in establishing and implementing project objective and procedures;
• Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing, ensuring delivery of a profitable project;
• Provide leadership to project team;
• Use the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision making to assure project success;
• Meet or exceed sales budget and for the delivery of service to meet the clients expectations
• Secure sufficient financial resources for future development or expansion;
• Manage client expectations while working to create a feeling of mutual respect between the Company and the client.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ of direct business development experience within the Hospitality & Agriculture sector; a proven history of developing business in Hospitality & Agriculture area
• The capability to travel as requested to meet with potential clients, customers or partners;
• Strong construction relationships/client Graduate from Marketing, Business Management, Economics or corresponding;
• Degree in Business, Hospitality & Agriculture, Marketing or a related field;
• Excellent negotiation and sales skills;
• Strong leadership ability, training / presentation skills, and team player attitude;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all levels of staff;
• Ability to work under pressure and close deadlines;
• Fluent in Azerbaijan, English and Russian.
