The Team Leader in a hotel must comply with the following rule:

To be familiarly with the policy and Procedure of work place
Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs
Attend on the begin of shift duty and take over the shift responsibility from previous shift
Read carefully and review the logbook of activity and completed task and pending if any
Take over the Shift key and BMS system and P.C with other document from previous shift
Make tour of mechanical and electrical rooms with previous shift to confirm and sign log
Electrical system high and low tension and synchronization system knowledge as standard
Emergency generator  background and functioning method and utility load supply
UPS system check and confirm the battery charge and supply load into level need
CCTV camera functioning knowledge and capability to monitor and controlling
T.V room and installation type knowledge and troubleshooting problem if any
Fire panel control knowledge and capability to monitor or control if require
Aware of all fire detection devices and installation and functioning standard
Fire pump knowledge and type of installation and control and operation
Control Water inlet to the property and maintain water level in tank
Familiarly on water treatment as plant room ( filter , softener , pumps, etc.)
HVAC background to support the engineering team to solve problem on site
Chiller system main distribution and method of functioning and controlling
AHU and FCU and Exhaust and fresh air fan control and maintain as per standard 
Pluming and sanitary knowledge to solve mechanical problem when is require
Kitchen and Laundry knowledge in order to support technical team when require
Knowledge of elevator functioning and control functioning during operation
Ability to train technical staff for new equipment to maintain quality services
Using the P.C for data base and create schedule duty roster for technical team
Create Preventive Maintenance Program for machineries as schedule standard
Follow up the require parts and to be stored properly when it be receive on site
Support technical team for energy saving system to minimize utility consumption
Stay on touch with the direct supervisor and inform on sport for any major problem
Communicate with the other department to provide any technical support require
Register on logbook all task and activity completed or pending during the shift
