Compliance and Process lead

The C&P lead is a focal point for the entire PML (Procurement, Materials, Logistics) structure with main responsibilities to build process and procedures for the MM, Marine, Contracts & Procurement and Land Transportation activities. It plays critical role in coordinating and facilitating the process elaboration and preparation of the entire handbook on procedures and processes. This includes working with departments lead, reviewing the current activities and procedures and optimization of the process flow. The individual shall have excellent communication and entrepreneur skills and be able to provide further coaching and awareness sessions to internal PML and external stakeholders. The role also includes building AVL (Approved vendor List) process and engages in the suppliers’ selection process. The individual shall have experience in working with QA and QC processes.

Key accountabilities

• Reviewing and updating the PML process and procedures jointly with relevant area responsible people (Contracts & Procurement, Materials, Logistics)
• Assisting in development of the process flow for each function area of PML department
• Preparation of the deployment plan for process and procedures.
• Preparation and conducting engagement sessions with all key stakeholders on PML processes and procedures
• Assisting compliance team in conducting internal audits and building compliance reporting process.
• Communicating with suppliers on Company’s requirements on compliance and ethics
• Reviewing and updating PML related templates jointly with legal department as required
• Prepare and deploy the self-assurance process and procedures in Contracts & Procurement, MM and Logistics area, which includes HSE related aspects too.
• Plan, manage, and schedule the overall audit programs to ensure that supplier assessments are performed in a consistent, timely, professional and high quality manner and that all documentation such as Assessment Reports and supplier database records meet the needs of Cross-Functional Work Teams
• Deployment and Management of Supplier Approved Vendor List audit programs, findings and Quality Concerns.
• Lead and coordinate Supplier Capability on-site audits (Quality, HSE and Technical)

Education         

University degree.

Essential experience and job requirements

•   Azerbaijani National.
•   Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in building processes and procedures in PML also in quality management systems
•   Experience in suppliers technical assessments ( HSE, SQM)
•  Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
