Job Title WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR
Reports to
Job Title(s) Service & Rental Manager (MENA, CIS & INDIA)
Authority within Department
The Workshop Supervisor is an integral member of the Service and Rental group within NOV Mission Well Services and is responsible for following specific policies and procedures relating to the role.
Purpose of Position
To oversee and manage operations, which encompass Service, Rental activities. The base of the operation is Baku, however travel throughout the CIS , both onshore and offshore will be required.
The holder will also be expected to maintain a close working relationship with all other Managers and Supervisors within the NOV Mission organisation.
A strong focus on customer relationship is expected and regular interface with the client will be required
Responsibilities
Assist with the planning and scheduling of repair jobs and rental enquiries.
Define priorities and distribute workload to workshop personnel.
Provide technical support to the Administration department.
Monitor and Supervise repair projects.
Assist preferred vendors with ongoing repairs.
Maintaining a good knowledge of the Mission products.
Manages direct reports with focus on timekeeping, holiday planning, performance and discipline.
Conduct regular face to face meetings with customers.
Handle technical issues in a prompt and efficient manner – Compile technical reports.
Ensure house-keeping is in line with current procedure / policies
Carry out toolbox talks and safety meetings
Supports as required other NOV Mission Well Services branches throughout the region.
Performing any other duties as reasonably required by Management.
Competencies Required
Knowledge and Experience in API Valves and Temporary Flowline products. (Minimum 5 years)
