Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting of all company transactions and preparation of the statutory reports to be submitted to state authorities.
• Manage and approve treasury operations (deposits, borrowing, bank and cash payments and collections)
• Ensure proper actual/plan variance analysis and suggest corresponding action plans based on the results
• Coordinate preparation of financial part of feasibility studies for new services, products and services  
• Ensure proper control after company assets and proper reflection of assets in the company Balance Sheet
• No tax penalties, no significant accounting corrections between the periods
• Timely payments, profitable use of cash, adequate cash for daily operations, safe cash
• Timely analysis of financial performance and action plan
• Analysis of new projects, services and products implemented during the year
• Timely signing and strict control 
• Reports and safe company assets
• Manage the revenue aspects of the service delivery for key projects
• Setup and improve billing and invoicing processes in conjunction with business units
• Setup controls to assure revenue and avoid revenue leakages
• Setup necessary automation tools in the software to ensure seamless revenue management process
• Setup relevant cost control policies over procurement processes
• Work with procurement to ensure cost savings via different tools
• Assist internal audit in its review of cost control and fraud prevention
• Carry out accounting of the entities under responsibility;
• Ensure preparation of management accounts (P&L, Cash Flow statement, Balance Sheet) for each month by a set deadline;
• Work with the various departments to coordinate the proper flow of accounting information and resolve issues on an on-going basis;
• Work with ERP team in ensuring proper operation of automated controls over business processes and availability of reliable data;
• Ensure data integrity (e.g. regular back-up of ERP database)
• Ensure proper reconciliations, checks and error detection procedures are in place.
Ensure timely submission of tax filings to the tax authorities by pre-determined deadlines;
Perform regular reviews (at appropriate circumstances by involving a professional tax consultant) to identify tax risks and suggest solutions to minimize and/or eliminate the risks;

Education:

• University education in finance, accounting and/or other related business disciplines
• International certification will be preferred

Languages:

• The candidate should be minimum upper intermediate fluent in English other than fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a related field is required

IT Skills:

• Good workable knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word)
• Experience with one of ERP programs (1C, SAP, Oracle, Navision, Sun Systems etc.) will be preferred
