Job Title Contract Manager (Village Housekeeping Manager)

Key accountabilities 

• Act as a key point of contact between Village Management and the appointed Housekeeping, Linen and Laundry suppliers.
• Review Standard Operating Procedures for Housekeeping, Linen and Laundry.
• Ensure adherence to Village and Baku 2015 wide policies and scope of works while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Produce training materials to instruct the Housekeeping, Linen and Laundry suppliers.
• Assist the Housekeeping, Linen and Laundry suppliers with determining and defining the required quality standards and outcomes.
• Provide direction and feedback to the Housekeeping, Linen and Laundry suppliers to ensure full understanding and compliance with Baku 2015 policies and procedures.
• Liaise with the Support Operations Department to ensure the efficient management of required repair works within the Residential zone.
• Ensure responsible and full control of keys in the possession of the Housekeeping, Linen and Laundry workforce.
• Perform any other assignments required or requested by the supervisor.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

• Experience managing large-scale housekeeping programs, including planning, contracts, budget, training, and operations.
• Ability to trouble-shoot and strong on-the-spot decision-making skills.
• A proactive, professional and positive approach with an ability to overcome challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other Functional Areas, contractors and multiple client groups.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and strong general computer skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Russian, and Azeri preferred (minimum English and either Russian or Azeri).
