Job Title: Mid-weight Designer
Key accountabilities
• Design and produce artwork of high visual impact within the Baku 2015 brand guidelines
• Act as a major ambassador for the Baku 2015 European Games committee
• Responsible for assisting the Design manager in managing the brand and creative development function from design conception through to project delivery on Baku 2015 branded and licensed products and campaigns
• Provide support in ensuring the brand identity guidelines for Baku 2015 European Games are monitored throughout the journey, conduct regular brand audits with the Design Manager and identify any shortfalls and initiate corrective action where necessary
• Provide and assist the Design Manager in the brand and design direction to strategic campaigns and develop key brand messages to be incorporated into integrated communication and marketing plans for Baku 2015 European Games
• Assist the Design Manager in the production of design briefs;
• Provide design assistance to help manage the creative process, design and look of maps and publications, and assist in managing their production
• Continuously research current design trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon stakeholder needs
• Support junior members of the team by sharing knowledge and experience
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• Previous Games experience preferred
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent design skills
• Good analytical skills
• Be a good listener and take briefs from clients all over the business
• Great team player with passion for a games environment
• Comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines
• Good presentation and communication skills
• An understanding of the design process
• Exceptional client management skills
• Be a team leader, able to inspire others

• Be organised and methodical
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
