UHY LLC is seeking a motivated and qualified Senior Tax Consultant for the Tax Team, with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation. We offer a stimulating and rewarding work environment, fostering teamwork and a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of schedules needed to complete tax returns
  • Gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of an tax audit
  • Review of documents and posting of entries in Accounting System/General Ledger
  • Collect data and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports (VAT)
  • Administration of e-tax account
  • Meet deadlines for completion of tax returns and other projects as assigned
  • Review, reconcile and analyze the general ledger account. Initiate all transactions required to correct any misstatements
  • Preparation and follow up of payments to suppliers in Accounting System
  • Preparation of invoices for clients in compliance with approved procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
  • At least 3 years of work experience in taxation
  • Strong understanding of local tax legislation
  •  Proficiency in English and Russian
  • Candidates with ACCA papers (F3 or higher) are an advantage
  • “PMS” certificate
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of 1C Accounting
  • Thorough understanding of general accounting principles
  • The ability to research, learn and analyze applicable tax law rules and regulations
