Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of schedules needed to complete tax returns;
  • Gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of various state and local tax audits including but not limited to sales and use, income, and property;
  • Gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of an tax audit;
  • Review of documents and posting of entries in Accounting System/General Ledger;
  • Collect data and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports;
  • Administration of e-tax account;
  • Meet deadlines for completion of tax returns and other projects as assigned;
  • Review, reconcile and analyze the general ledger account. Initiate all transactions required to correct any misstatements;
  • Preparation and follow up of payments to suppliers in Accounting System;
  • Preparation of invoices for clients in compliance with approved procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or other related field required;
  • At least 2 years of work experience as an tax specialist;
  • Knowledge of local tax legislation;
  • Fluency in English or in Russian;
  • Candidates with ACCA papers (F3 at least) are an advantage;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of 1C Accounting is an advantage;
  • Thorough understanding of general accounting principles;
  • Ability to research, learn and analyze applicable tax law rules and regulations.
