KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
This role will be responsible mainly for obesity, also holding portfolio responsibility. Expectations from this position are: to define pharmacy and patient engagement strategy, identify partnership opportunities to drive sales of our products at pharmacies, identify opportunities to collaborate with private clinics to drive sales of OOP products, establish digital platforms for HCP/pharmacy/patient education, execute on patient awareness and activation programs at private institutions and pharmacies.
MAIN TASKS
- Develop & implement both strategic and tactical local plans mapping buying process, market segmentation, competitor analysis, market modelling, scenario + contingency planning as well as investigate various sales channels opportunities;
- Gain customer insight – both patients and HCPs and leverage it with tactical plans;
- Ensure execution and management of marketing plans, projects and tactics. Maintaining ongoing liaison with senior management on outcomes, challenges, risks and mitigation plans;
- Communicate brand strategy, positioning, key messages and their rationale to develop organisational strategic understanding of market environment and key leverage points on the patients journey;
- Develop national business plan to identify and leverage relationships with KOLs;
- Develop networks and healthcare partnerships with key influencers and customers;
- Support medical, market access and communication with tactical planning to ensure alignment of campaign to drive excellent patient journey;
- Evaluate appropriate use and allocation of resources to ensure attainment of unit, department and company profitability goals;
- Ensure ongoing management and oversight of budget to target levels;
- Work according to Business Ethic procedures, local law, Novo Nordisk Way, policies and guidelines
- Share best practice and lead other cross-functional or strategic projects as required by the business including providing support and backup for peers;
- Adopt fail fast approach and apply agile learnings in unpredictable situations;
- Manage the cross-functional team to develop and realise implementation of tactical plans according to patients journey and identified leverage points;
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Graduate in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing or equivalent field;
- Advanced Marketing/Business qualification is desirable;
- Experience on partnerships, working closely with private health institutions and pharmacies/distributors, people management;
- Worked in international companies in pharma/OTC/dermo cosmetics/retail sector, expected to spend min 8 days/ month to connect with key stakeholders such as distributors, pharmacists, private hospital administration and procurement departments, other relevant stakeholders such as private insurance companies, patient support services etc;
- English fluent;
- Azerbaijani native.
